In my particular case with the RX 7800 XT, I'm stuck with a 1024x768 resolution
on a 4K display.
The issue stems from missing firmware, as seen in dmesg (excerpt below).

This bug needs a backport to the previous release i.e Debian bullseye and
various effected debian distro releases.
Can you please confirm that the kernel team has addressed the issue, if yes
please share the progress on it.
