I modified systemtap buildrun.cxx so that the Makefile it produces
during Pass 3 doesn't have quotes around the include path, i.e.:
Before:
EXTRA_CFLAGS += -I"/usr/share/systemtap/runtime"
After:
EXTRA_CFLAGS += -I/usr/share/systemtap/runtime
Then stap works fine against the Debian kernel,
