Bug#726821: linux: "shutdown -h now" reboots instead shutting down the system // More info: false alarm

2013-11-01 Thread Camaleón
Adding more info. "shutdown -hP now" stopped from working 3 days ago so the trick is useless. What worries me is the randomness of the issue, is a bit weird that sometimes reboots and other times shutdowns well. Greetings, -- Camaleón -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-kernel-requ...@list

Just to add that "shutdown -hP now" has been working as expected (→ computer is powered off) for the last 3 days. I'm now using that command from xfce4-terminal inside an X session and all the times was behaving correctly. I will report for any change or new findings. Greetings, -- Camaleón
