regarding ath9k_htc updated firmware for firmware-linux-free
to be marked as done.
This means that
It seems like the biggest blocker is that building ath9k_htc requires
building an entire (cross)toolchain.
There is an open issue about getting ath9k_htc firmware into Debian at:
https://github.com/qca/open-ath9k-htc-firmware/issues/90
These issues are also mentioned in an RFP for ath9k-htc-fi
It would be a shame if the firmware to an RYF'd wireless device were
excluded
from Jessie. Is there no way of including the files before release?

I think we must really shame our self this software is not in Debian Jessie!
Is there no RFP?
Maybe it cannot be in firmware-linux-free because the code has another
source.

The htc_9271.fw and htc_7010.fw can be used with hostapd and some USB
wifi adapters to run in access point mode. It's been hard enough to find
any USB wifi that works with hostapd; now we can have a fully free stack.
