So it has been really caused by xserver-xorg-video-radeon. I have downgraded
from 6.13.0-2 to previous 6.12.6-1 and freezing gone :)

that 2.6.32-3-686 was fine, but I am not sure (have not this kernel anymore).

which you can find in unstable, installs just fine in testing.
