No, I can't ping the Windows XP instance, it fails to boot. My recent trials
without success were with linux-image-2.6.30-1-686 (Version: 2.6.30-6) and kvm
(Version: 84+dfsg-2) on Debian/squeeze
My workaround is using an older linux-image-2.6.28-1-686.
