I have managed in building the xen-vserver kernel a la Debian
with Göran's patch and now it works for me too.

2.6.18-6-xen-vserver-amd64: I get the same oops.
I'd like to apply one of your patches but I cannot find the
pci-dma-xen.c file in the Debian pre-packaged kernel sources

Please try the snapshots of the newer vers
The upstream Xen tree has a patch more like the attached.
However I suspect there is no practical difference between the two so
I'd suggest applying Göran Weinholt's patch since it has actually been
tested. I will check it in shortly unless I hear screaming...
