I am seeing this problem on my NSLU2. I have cron-apt configured to run daily, and everyday I wake up to the segfault email by the cron job :(. removing /var/cache/apt/*.bin allows me to have one pleasant encounter with apt, not more. So, currently I added 'rm /var/cache/apt/*.bin' to my daily
