Heya,
I would like to mark this as resolved. Bluetooth works now.
The culprit was connman. Unfortunately I could not trace when or why it was
installed but once I did a
apt-get purge connman connman-gtk
bluetooth started working again.

I have problems with the Intel AX210 card on Linux. Since it is rather
