Sorry to take so long to get back on this.
I just did an install on this machine, and all went well. I used the
Lenny RC1 "netinst" CD. Everything worked according to specs. I was
even able to install X11 and Gnome at full 1280x1024 resolution --
it's not blindingly fast, but it works OK
