I can confirm that with kernel version 3.2.0-51 the bug seems to be
fixed. No more freezes nor lags.

I did install experimental packages as I got other X-crashes, too:
* xserver-xorg-video-intel: did not change anything
* linux-image-3.8-trunk-amd64: seems to solve the problems but I need
some more testing.
