The symbolic link '/dev/fd' (which is essential for packages like 'dkms') is
no longer created at system startup. I'm currently using a small workaround
for this problem by manually creating this symbolic link with
ln -s /proc/self/fd /
only missing part.

Yes, you are right. Sorry, but I don't know how I can get logs from previous

During launching KDM system freezes and don't react of anything.
Only reset solves the problem. And I need to use usual kernels.
New kernels with real-time patches were tested on 3 computers:
1) Laptop HP Compaq NX 6110 with Debian Sid 32-bi
that the drive itself is broken (and that I have lots
of broken drives). If a new drive works I won't be chasing this further. Sorry
for the noise.

Today I found that the problem may belong to the udev utility. I
uninstalled it and made a shutdown -r. The 2.6.12 kernel starts without
any error. Reinstalling the udev utility leads to the same problems as
discribed before.
