I just realized that the current patchset is actually missing the
commit SHA1's because they are a patchset off of cherry-picked
commits off of a branch of the tag v2.6.39.
Here's how I got them:

I tried that smbfs version and no improvement.
I also tried 2.6.25-2 and that doesn't work either (with both versions
of smbfs)
