Wow! Thanks! At least I now know I'm not crazy... Any idea how long it will
be before the fix is in something I can download and install with?
Enjoy!

Hi!
Is there any estimate of when the assumed fix (linux/5.10.40-1) will show up in
the installer at [1] ? I'd love to test it!
Failing that, is there some other place I can get an installer SDcard image
with that fix?

Can you run this: "lsmod | grep wind" (without the quotes) on one or both of

Dear Maintainer,
The 4.3.0.0 kernel on an "OpenRD Client" fails to recognize the SD card --
there is no mmc device shown by lsblk.
This is fixed by using a modified DTB file provided by Aaro Koskinen.
Fix tested by Rick Thom
The result will be (hopefully) two-fold: (1) slower video (but not much slower
as long as you’re not using 3D features) and (2) better control over the color
and layout of your screen.
I’ve found it’s the only thing that works for my G5 PowerMac.
Hope it helps you too!

ieee1394 drivers, regardless of CPU type.
I'd like to suggest that pcilynx be disabled in the Debian PPC
kernels, and a note to that effect be put in the release documents,
encouraging users who need firewire to avail themselves of one of the
cheap OHCI1394 card
Interestingly enough, I get similar results when booting from the
miboot "ofonlyboot" floppy.
Even more interesting, when I use the miboot "boot" floppy the video
is slightly strange (some columns flicker) but usable for installation.

After upgrading linux-image-2.6.14-2-k7 from version 2.6.14-4 to
2.6.14-5, I immediately rebooted the system. Upon boot, the following
was received:
/bin/cat: /sys/block/hda/dev: No such

I've been experiencing OOPs in swapper throughout all 2.6.x kernels I've
tried. This latest bug may be due to the same root cause.
As best as I have the screen data currently:

Hmmm... You learn something new every day!
I think I've just discovered a major difference between the "hfs"
implementation in 2.4 and that in 2.6.
When one mounts an hfs filesystem under 2.4, there are a bunch of
pseudo-directories with names
