I think this bug is fixed in 2.6.38 but I'm not sure. Have anybody tested it?

About the bug, I can confirm that the failure is not deterministic and it can
be related to one or more of the improvements recommended by powertop, that
are now included with "pm-tools" package, but no-doubt, the problem is in the
kernel drm code.
I saw there were an upgrade before begining
the resume failures. Please, let me know if you find any fix to this issue.
