Hi all
I was able to solve my problem by upgrading the bash package from bash
3.2-4 to 4.1-3.
The note I posted in the "bug report" is now gone from bash's man page,
apparently with Bash 4 /dev/tcp is now supported on Debian.
/etc/init.d/nfs-kernel-server works like a charm and I already have my
Package: nfs-kernel-server
Version: 1:1.2.2-5
I casually tried to set up an NFS server, just to see if I can get it
working. I installed nfs-kernel-server via aptitude, edited /etc/exports,
and finally tried to start the NFS server daemon.
