It seems problem happened overnight.
I left the computer on with vlc reading a rtsp stream on local network +
iceweasel and a few terminal.
When I get back, I thought computer was rebooted (no more gfx apps were
running),

Dear maintainers,
I have finally finished my second bisect with f96972f reverted,
unfortunately the kernel doesn't boot for a big part of the bisection and I
cannot point a single bad commit.
$ git bisect skip
There are only 'skip'ped commits left to test.
The first bad commit could be any of:

Ok reverting commit f96972f on 3.7.1-1~experimental.2 fixes my problem.
But, as I said, this particular commit was backported to 3.6.2 and
didn't trigger the freeze there. I'll try to dig a little more to see
where real problem hides.

Testing a little bit more, hibernate is also affected by the problem.
I've blacklisted the nvidia's module to untaint the kernel and see if that
helps. No luck.
