Dear Maintainer,

Another reason is that if wireless firmware is not loaded in the
initramfs then it does not get loaded at all.
This is a general problem that I have h

After compiling and installing a kernel using the latest source in
stable (linux-source (3.2+46)) the wireless does not work. The kernel
is compiled with all required drivers built in, i.e. no modules,
including the RTL8195SE driver.
I am using the inbuilt RTL8192E driver with kernel 2.6.37-rc5 from
experimental. It is working but is throwing up lots of error messages,
see https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=16594 .

I have now got my system working using the

The samsung-laptop staging driver is now in the Debian 2.6.32 source.
However, it seems only to include a couple of models. Can this driver
be patched to include all models, so that it works in the same way as
the related http://code.google.com/p/easy-slow-down-manager/ ?
Cheers

Mainly because that is where people seem to be looking for a solution!
Also because the firmware with 0.26 is identical with earlier firmware
that I have downloaded and opinion seems to be that different firmware
is needed for a 64bit kernel. And because the messages I am getting are
similar
I do not think this can be considered fixed yet. It is still a problem
for me in the latest version and it seems still to be not working for
others.

The particular driver that I am wanting currently is for a Samsung N120 netbook.
The PCI ID is 10ec:8192 which appears to be an RTL8192E.
