I don't know if this is the right place, but I downloaded the
adlp_dmc_ver2_12.bin firmware from the following site:
http://wtware.com/fw/index.php?folder=i915
Specifically this file:
http://wtware.com/fw/mkzip.php?file=i915/adlp_dmc_ver2_12.bin
Installed it into /lib/firmware/i915/adlp_dmc_ve
It is being requested thai I build a kernel with the following patch:
https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=203529#c39
I have not built a kernel since the early 90's and have no clue where
to start.
I'm currently using:
# uname -a
Linux nyx 5.10.0-0.bpo.5-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 5.10.24-1~bpo

When using a program like 'find' or 'cp' in an operation involving a CIFS
mounted network
location and then typing a Ctrl-C to terminate it will cause -all- CIFS mount
points to
become unusable. To fix this, you just unmount them and then re

I too have run into this issue. Currently I have initramfs-tools
uninstalled (because it failed) and I am not entirlely sure how to
un-wedge this problem. I have read #659948, but it doesn't sound
like linking rootfs -> / is the answer eith
