I am unable to suspend my T61 thinkpad when using an amd64 kernel.
However, if I use linux-image-2.6.26-1-686 it works fine. Here's some
additional info on the failure:

It seems the the real-time clock device [/dev/rtc] does not work on my
ThinkPad T61:

select() to /dev/rtc to wait for clock tick timed out
