works too and causes that the ACPI will be
active
but only minimally, just for supporting HT. This is the fix I'm using right
now. I
don't have full ACPI support but HT is working.

It would be nice when someone with needed experience will try to figure
out the right cause of OOPS. The call stack ends in "acpi_" prefixed
functions, while the cause is probably some page fault (maybe repeated as
I remember from the stack).
