Yep, it happens everytime. GNU/Linux is totally unusable in its current state. P.S. But X.org mouse pointer issue doesn't have anything with kernel.

Nor with 3.10. It's actually an upstream issue, because vanilla kernels >3.8 do also render G5 mac systems (incl. pm112) noisy, power overconsuming and thus unusable. The total lack of reaction from Debian Kernel Team
