linux-image-3.8-trunk wouldn't boot for me, but after an intel-microcode
and initramfs-tools update, it now boots and I'm able to test and

Hello,
For my hardware there is a regression when upgrading from Squeeze to
Wheezy that causes me a lot of wireless problems in hardware that is
now 7 years old.
It is solved by blacklisting the HP platform driver (hp-wmi). This is
all documented here:

Fixes the problem in Wheezy, using linux-image-3.2.0-3-686-pae in Wheezy.
