nstalled about a couple of months ago and may have booted the PC with it perhaps 60 times with no delay like this. However, I upgraded the kernel to -pae perhaps a couple of weeks ago. There are now 2 HD's on my PC, one SATA (ata30) and the other a slower PATA with a ribbon cable.
