Upgrade to linux-image-4.19.0-13-amd64 makes apcupsd unable to
contact UPS through USB
You're right in the BIOS part, something must be wrong with this reader.
I will ask for a RMA.
When I receive the new one. I'll post here if this solve my problems.

I tried it with windows XP and it worked flawlessly.
I also forgot to say, all those syslog errors prevents Debian from finish
shutdown...

BIOS, and disabling USB3 legacy support, I could make it boot.

Since I upgraded my Ultra 1 Sparc from lenny to testing/squeeze, I cannot make
Sbus Big Mac to run.
With lenny's 2.6.26, it worked OK, but with both testing's 2.6.30 and sid's
2.6.32, I get the following message:

I could finally boot 2.6.20-1-k7 disabling pata_amd. I
can confirm problems are gone with this kernel
