Hello,
i have an external Cooler Master USB Drive case where i usually
plug SATA drives. While standard USB keys are working, i can't
get any disk to work for a couple of months.

getrlimit nice gives me rlim_cur=RLIM_INFINITY, rlim_max=RLIM_INFINITY
on ppc. I have never touched these settings. I assume these are system
default settings which have changed to unexpected and dangerous values
(should be 0 i guess).

NewReno + BIC was default.
Linux 2.6.14 has splitted these features into modules. But default remains
NewReno + BIC accordint to CONFIG_TCP_CONG
