What is the version of the ALSA drivers that are included in the
2.6.12 kernel that is included in the unstable (sid) release? This
is the kernel package linux-image-2.6.12-1-686-smp.

There is a symbolic link at /lib/modules/2.6.8-2-386/source
which points to someone's home directory (horms). The horms
home directory does not exist on a new installation.
This is in the stable (Sarge) release.
