I would like to ping this bug: debian is not installable on latest Areca
controllers like ARC-12x4, and they are out since many months now.

I have several servers using a Mylex Acceleraid 170 as RAID controller.
They work fine up to kernel 2.6.21 but starting from 2.6.22 they can't boot any
more
