Question to get involved

2022-12-18 Thread Miguel Bernal Marin
Hi, I would like to getting involve in Debian, by asking for some new Kconfig features. I've seen that they are requested via BTS and then a MR is done at salsa [1]. My question is: What is the correct way to do it? 1. Could I fill out a BTS and create the MR? or 2. Just fill out the BTS.

Package: linux-image-amd64 Version: 6.0.3-1~bpo11+1 Severity: wishlist Please consider setting CONFIG_INTEL_HFI_THERMAL=y for amd64 kernels going forward, to enable Intel's Hardware Feedback Interface. Modern Intel CPUs (12th and 13th gen and newer) use a mix of more powerful performance cores
