Neither shutdown nor suspend works in this kernel version. Systemd seems
to indicate it is trying at least, but the system hangs either right
before shutdown (clean situation, requiring a poweroff with the power

On kernel 5.5, firmware i915/icl_dmc_ver1_09.bin is also requested (and

Hi.
I had tried the patch published in this bug report, but this fix doesnt fix
the issue on debian testing. The initramfs update process still emits
warnings about missing file for depmod.
The system is almost unmodified and running in virtualization

Hello,
Just hit that issue on Debian Buster so it is still relevant, but with
the systemd erra, I went for a different solution:
mkdir /etc/systemd/system/nfs-server.service.d
echo -e "[Service]\nExecStartPre=/bin/sh -c '/bin/echo 10 >
/proc/fs/nfsd/nfsv4leasetime'" >
/etc/systemd/system/n
Here are some additional informations about the problem.
I rechecked it was not a keyboard layout problem by setting up
an additional luks key, a very short one that used only keys that
were at the same position in both qwerty and azerty. It does
not work, so it's definitely not a keyboard problem
