On loongson-2f mini-pc running under unstable, I upgraded the linux
image from old linux-image-3.2.0-4-loongson-2f to newer
linux-image-3.8-2-loongson-2f. I use this mini-pc as a gateway 24/7,
so it is to be up all the time.
I have a dual US-III in a Sun Blade 2500 running 3.9 and it's stable for
me, but I don't recall having any problems with 3.2 either.

Also seeing this bug on wheezy 3.2.0-4-amd64. It ended up completely killing
the Xen stack, not just the vif it disabled. New vifs couldn't be created, Xen
couldn't create any new VMs ("out of memory" despite having 50G free).

For me, the solution was to install the lvm2 package from a livecd:
- Make LVM volumes available:
$ vgchange -ay
- Mount the necessary filesystems
$ mount /dev/[...]-vg/root /mnt
$ mount -t proc none /mnt/proc
