I have simillar issue (on same HW) when using openvswitch (with xcp-xapi),
the trick with ifconifg eth0 up helped me too a little bit.
My setup worked initially (for longer than half a day), but once
during shutdown the system hung (with message like "task
shutdown blocked for more than 1

The last system freeze (10 or 20 mins ago) i wasnt able to reboot via
AltGr+Print+B using the notebook keyboard, but when i unplugged the other
keyboard (usb) and pressed again those keys it immediately rebooted.

Another crash (this time with nvidia module loaded), after 37 hours uptime.
It crashed irreparably at 16:03 (UTC). I had some previous faults with
tranmission-gtk some hours before the system crash.

Ok:
3.2.0-3 (3.2.23-1) also produces the timeouts. So, just "use the kernel
from sid" isn't even a workaround. I will continue bisecting.

i changed bumblebee config to disable the use of bbswitch module.
Atm uptime is 33 hours.
I only had some consecutive crashes of iceweasel yesterday. But right now
everything seems to be working good.
