I did just complete a test using a 3.0.25 and it's working with the
patched kern
I'm also seeing this problem. I can trigger these errors trivially by
doing:
/sbin/lvcreate -A n -L500M -s -nvar-backup /dev/vg0/var
and
/sbin/lvremove -A n -f /dev/vg0/var-backup
