I put together a script called reproduce-bug.sh that does all the work for you.
I will attach it when I get the Debian bug number by email.
This script doesn't require sudo or other enhanced proviledges to run.

I installed two days ago debian squeeze beta from dvd. Installation went ok,
but some times during boot up system will freeze with messages like:

On my aging sony vaio tx3 sony_laptop doesn't tell anyone about the EJECT key
and gets the VOLUME UP/VOLUME DOWN buttons wrong.

than just smp_ops and second the outcome isn't satisfactory.
Whether a symbol is exported for a specific purpose or for general
