Hi, also have this problem.
I build mainline kernel, and build debian package using `make deb-pkg`,
then i manually deleted some files in /boot.
When i then wanted to remove package using `dpkg -P linux-image-`,
i had this error:

I'm trying to get vdr setup, and want to use a wakeup timer to wake the
machine whenever a recording is due.
