Since I don't see these yet, here's the quick fix. Grab the source tarball
somewhere and find your missing ihexes, then objcopy. My lines looked like:
# objcopy -Iihex -Obinary ./RS780_me.bin.ihex
/lib/firmware/radeon/RS780_me.bin
# objcopy -Iihex -Obinary ./RS780_pfp.bin.ihex
/li

Symptom is a row of ^@ on the console.
Rebooting fixes this for a few hours again.
