I was wondering if really all blobs in the firmware-linux package are
non-free.
Especially the Radeon drivers would be nice if they could be in main, so
that they are present on the disks/images. Otherwise I would have to
install the non-free package after upgrading to squeeze on my machines

stable. No ABI breaker so it will go in next upload of the kernel.

I read this thread while looking for the cause of unexplained dom0
reboots (unattended reboot on a headless server, so no idea what
happened).
The crashes seem to be triggered by two factors for me:
- heavy I/O (backup of dom0 by rsync)
- more VMs than cores (including dom0)
