Hi,
lenny is comming with no solution to my original bug. I've tried it and I
have to say:
(1) unmaintained console-tools exist in lenny and this package is installed by
default
(2) original bug is not solved
(3) using "kbd" package doesn't bring solution. The result is a bit different

According to 24aac480e76c6f5d1391ac05c5e9c0eb9b0cd302, new smart array

track the progress of adding support for these devices in etch.

just cleaned up some dead *.old symlinks and refreshed symlinks in / before creating the initrd with unstable yaird,
but I doubt that could be the failure reason.

boot with new initrd failed again, same err, used /boot/backup/initrd... to

no available version of initramfs-tools can create a running initrd on this
system, trying yaird:

Hi,
Please rebuild linux-modules-extra-2.6 with current
virtualbox-ose-source (1.6.6-dfsg-2).
Currently Lenny (and Sid) contains VirtualBox 1.6.6, but the extra
modules shipped in Debian are for VirtualBox 1.6.2
that makes Virtua

This is common after seeing a BUG() in the kernel. The trapping kernel
thread terminates without cleaning up after itself. It may be holding
locks that cause

Hi,
the following two additional CVE ids have been assigned to
symlink issues in cman & redhat-cluster:
CVE-2008-4579[0]:
| The (1) fence_apc and (2) fence_apc_snmp programs, as used in (a)
| fence 2.02.00-r1 and possibly (b) cman, when running in verbose mode,

After recent upgrade my system freezes just like described in this bug.
For the first I thinked that new nvidia driver was the cause of problem,
but after some experiments, described in bug #499541, I found that
downgrading to .24 solved my problem.
Btw, I have cronyd installed.
