The bug is still present in 2.6.26-5. It locks up in exactly the same
place - "NET: Registered protocol family 2" is the last thing printed.
Back to 2.6.25 for now... Any news on fixing it soon?

I just upgraded my ThinkPad 760 ED from Etch to Lenny. Everything in
the userland works fine under the Etch kernel, but the Lenny kernel

The current kernel for Lenny (2.6.26-1) boots fine on an Acer Aspire
One, except if there is an SDHC card in one of the card reader slots.
Then the boot process gets as far as:

Just checked this, systemtap works good even if only debug information
from vmlinux is present.

Hi,
It will be great if a debug package is provided for the kernel. To
use tools like oprofile, it will be helpful to have one. Other distros
(sorry, name withheld!) provides such a package.
