Hi,
I'm in the process of updating kernel handbook for lenny, and in the
process discovered some patch problems. For example, when trying to
unapply patches to go from patchlevel '2' directly to 'orig', I get
the following:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/usr/src/linux-source-2.6.26$ cat version.Debian
2.

On some subarches we have a size restriction on the kernel image (e.g.
so it fits into flash). I suggested adding a size check a while ago
and waldi thought abicheck would be the right place for this. I've
made a first stab at this now. Any comments, waldi?
You can put check_size and (optionall
Hi,
Nico earlier visited OFTC #debian about this issue.
The problem appears similar to #432042. Firmware isn't being
transferred to the initrd via update-initramfs upon package
installation. As the firmware isn't available in the initramfs image,
it can't be loaded by the bnx2 module during boo

Is this a kernel issue, or an Xorg (Synaptics driver) issue?
After running into this bug I've downgraded my kernel to the default
Etch one (2.6.18-6). And I still experience this bug.
The only way to a working trackpad after resuming from suspend is to not
use the Synaptics driver.
