Hi,
after installing the etchnhalf kernel, I found that only the ascii
portion of my keyboard worked on the linux console. It turned out that,
as of 2.6.24, the
I get the same error with 2.6.26-1-686.
Yet no errors with the kernels from kernel.org.
So I had a thought: recompile the Debian kernel with the .config I use.
Guess what: no error.
So Maximilian was right when he pointed to the .config differences.
It's in the .config somewhere.

Since updating the kernel to 2.6.24 I get some strange hiccups when
trying to play media files. They play fine for some time (random, but
usually after one hour or so) and then they stop. When I start typing or

The patch has been merged upstream by Patrick McHardy, one of the
netfilter maintainers, so I assume it'll be merged into the official
tree eventually.
