Hi,
I'm reporting this bug that I have been seeing for a while and which is
a regression from a few months/years ago - the line-in input simply doesn't
work right. arecord(1) just doesn't record anything with it, it doesn't show
any errors, it records silence. The recording fro
I found that if I change the parallel port in the bios from 'Enabled' to
'Auto', the kernel will boot and loads the modules fine. So it seems the
default settings the bios puts for just 'Enabled' the kernel does not like?

It is still present in unstable, the fix having been dropped as a result of
the kernel team merge practices, yes. I'll be reintroducing the fix soon,
after I've reviewed
I guess you are not aware of new upstream version 0.80.3 [1]?
It fixes some bugs being in 0.80.2 you are packaging, for example the
timer.h issue you are going to handle via patch file in r9344.

Hi folks
I think its another time to reconsider the available i386 images.
Currently we build:
- 486
- 686
- 686-bigmem
- k7
- amd64
I propose the following:
- Rename 686-bigmem to 686-pae. pae is more than support for much
memory, it includes things like NX.
- Drop k7.
Are there any usable b

The problems between Sven and the remain of the team did not decrease in

Hello,
I would like to get something done in this matter, but there has not

What is the status of this ITP?
I had a look at the packages on mentors, and I think they are of poor
quality, using CDBS and shipping an unecessary postinst scri

Since I'm waiting for the fix I changed my `/etc/fstab' to use UUIDs and the

I think the fix come from the updated `discover1-data' package.

If one adds a PCI ID in a conservative way, that is, without any
wildcard, only a device identical to this one would be detected. I
have less experience than you, but I can't see why it is not safe.
However, if a kernel upgrade is done, I would be happy with it.
