While it's ok to read:
1. DVD Video

In the log I can see that it's always spit out Drive Seek Complete Error

Hi folks
I'd like to schedule the upload of 2.6.17-2 for tomorrow, wednesday.

Please note that 2.6.17-1 sparc binaries somehow managed to make it into
unstable, so an ABI bump might be required, after all.

Any news about this bug? Now that Linux 2.6.17 is in unstable, this
better be fixed.

At the end of /usr/share/initramfs-tools/scripts/local , you have:
[ "$quiet" != "y" ] && log_begin_msg "Running /scripts/log-bottom"
run_scripts /scripts/local-bottom
This should be local-bottom, not log-bottom

When I run gdb, the system freezes immediately after starting the
program being debugged.
I experienced the same bug with an older 2.6.16-2-vserver-amd64-k8
kernel, but in 2.6.16-14 gdb works fine.
