I've upgraded from kde221 to kde222.
Before (221) arts was working well, but now I've a problem with arts or
control cener, because :
- I select arts to start with kde during the startup (contrlcenter > sound >
soundserver , picking on the checkbox) as usual (the same setti

I made an half solution ... that showed me a way ... maybe ;)
I added a shellcript in $/.kde/Autostart with exec /usr/bin/artsd
options (I dont' remeber which).
I'm in init2 mode and the system start with gdm, so after I made
the shell script I shutdown kde, going

I've configured my linuxbox (debian woody -half november- kde
2.2.1) to use the euro symbol under console and under X ... but only some
program show me the euro symbol .
Besides in, for example, kspread I can see the euro (thanks to
Kontrolcenter and iso8859-15 fonts) b

I was trying to compile the last koffice's release, but
./configure gave me back the error:
kde headers not found :(
Which one package do I download to obtain the kde headers (I'm
running kde 3.0.1 on woody) ?

I had kde 302 installed and everything went very well.
I had upgraded to 303woody, and I've no more the desktop styles
(only some motif styles and compact) and liquid does not loads its
style. It (kstyle and kcontrol) loads the translucency menu and the
window decoratio

I've have updated my sarge (I have the "old" but amazing kde 3.1 from

nolden kde woody packages. Before I erased (purged) the kl packges, and then
with a update && upgrade through the right sourses.list (kde X11 Printing)I

I installed, two days ago, the latest sid version.
In the beginning it was very fast and smart, but after 1 days it
started up
very slow (it stop itself on the periferials) and the windows start up very
very slow (about 3- 4 5 sec., without any activity) ...
