How can I take a screenshot of the kmd login screen?
should I "copy" the video memory area holding the screen ? (buffer?) to a
some-kind-of-file ?
[gimp]
"cut & paste" the login image (where is it? how does kdm create it?) into the
kdm-login-background (blue-beng.jpg)
[/gimp]
Any ideas?
Thank
thank you for your help, but I think I need some more hints...
Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified
xwd: unable to open display ':0'
I must login (switch to vt7, name&password --> kde) for xwd to works, which is
not what I want ;-(
I assume that once I login,
it works !
...but fonts are ugly, is it possible to enable anti-aliasing in Xnest too?
(I've tried 800x600 up to 1280x1024 but the login box has fixed-size and lacks
anti-aliasing)
Thank you for your help.
Gabriele.
