I had a quick look in kstandarddirs.cpp. I think we need to add
"prefixes=/usr/local" to /etc/kderc. I haven't tested this yet, but I will
try later. I don't know if we need to include /usr in the
users and the packagers don't tend to do that much with the
actual source code. I would imagine that it will be in kdelibs or qt. It
would be helpful if you posted the entire backtrace (or at least the few

have issues with some modules, but as we are currently in a feature freeze,
there should be no problems with files being moved around, breaking the

he most useful thing atm would be writing man pages. Check
http://webcvs.kde.org in the debian dir for binaries that do not have a
sgml document. You can use one of the existing sgml docs for a template.
