I'm running Debian/Trixie on an AMD64 system.
After doing a full-upgrade this morning, I rebooted my system. It gets
to the sddm service being started then goes no further. It hangs and is
not responsive to the keyboard. I had to install lightdm and make it my

Moving to debian-kde as this is more of a user question.

Just installed Marknotes, but it suggest to import only from Maildir and KNotes.
KNotes is not KJots.
Importing from KNotes creates just empty notebook.

Hi list,
KJots 5.1.0 no longer works in Sid, it shows "Cannot connect to the Personal
Information management service."
Also just noticed that it's removed [1]:
This package is not in any development repository.
So.. how do I get my notes?
Is there any note application that could import KJo

Thank you, Helge! I wasn't finding the libkitnerary packages before for some
reason ...
I already had libkitinerary-data installed.
Installing libkitinerary-bin provides the missing kitinerary-extractor.

Running debian/sid, just updated. When I run kmail from the console, the
following appears -- should I be alarmed? What does it mean?
org.kde.kitinerary: filePath : "/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libexec/kf6/
kitinerary-extractor" Cannot find external extractor: "kitinerary-extractor"

I don't have libkitinerary-bin installed and kmail starts on the console

I'm running Debian/Trixie on an AMD64 system. I use regex find/replace a
lot. Today KATE crashes almost every time I use one. Fortunately, it is
able to recover the modified file I was working on after the crash, so I
am able to work.
