I just fiddled two hours around with Digikam 1.2.0-2, then 1.2.0-5,
downloaded via ISDN, to have it show images of albums again.
It didn't show any images at all.
Rebuilding the database didn't help. Deleting the thumbnail database
didn't help. There was not error message in the GUI. I

The latest "news from the release team" mentions 4.4.3 as the Squeeze
KDE version.
Is this correct? I would have expected the latest possible point release
(which would be 4.4.5 since the freeze won't happen until August,
according to the latest release team news).

For some reason, on one of my systems, KDM has stopped managing the
local display. I was doing some tinkering - specifically trying to get
GRUB 2 to work and trying to get rid of all the griping about SYSFS{}
by udev during the boot process, when at some point KDM quit bringing
