I just upgraded from KDE 4.3.4 to KDE 4.4.1 from http://qt-kde.debian.net/
I upgraded from a running 4.3.4 session. The window manager got killed while
upgrading (but the shell window was still there and useable), other then that
everything was o.k.

I went ahead and did the upgrade this afternoon, which was
actually quite straightforward. I've got one problem with akonadi,
which I'll post to a new thread in a minute. It might also be related
to my activities (or laziness, if you prefer :) in the past.

All went swimmingly, as it happens. One weird akonadi error
on start - but following the bug that Modestas referenced at

i'm trying to get debugging information from my KDE3 on debian lenny.
I started kdebugdialog and selected all debugging area, then launched
whatever kde program in console but nothing is printed out in the
shell or .xsession-errors file.
Am i missing something?
