kde3 -> kde4

Hi, Lots of kde applications wont be immediatly kde4 compliant/integrated when kde4 will be out. Will there be a kind of kde3.5.x package on wich some users would stay before their favorites apps become kde4? There is alredy such system, for example with python (python2.3, python2.4,... packages

Have just subscribed to this list and using Icedove to post. Using Debian Etch/Lenny Have just been connected to satellite internet provider Clearnet who have some Linux capable techs on their staff, but have not been able to resolve a problem with Kmail 1.9.5 [using KDE 3.5.7] in Debian testing.
